Refund and Cancellation Policy

Client Policies

Payments, Refunds, Cancellations & Service Terms

Thank you for choosing Sherry Pulcher Consulting. Sherry Pulcher Consulting provides professional consulting, project-based services, training, digital resources, and related business services.

Because these services may require reserved project capacity, advance preparation, research, document review, customized analysis, project planning, implementation work, training preparation, travel, and other work performed before or between scheduled meetings, please review these terms before purchasing or entering into an engagement.

These terms apply to services and offerings provided by Sherry Pulcher Consulting unless a signed agreement, proposal, statement of work, invoice, or other written agreement expressly provides different terms. When a separate written agreement applies, the terms of that agreement control for that engagement.

01 · CONSULTATIONS & PROJECT APPROVAL

Initial Consultations

An initial consultation may be used to discuss the business, the issue or project being considered, current needs, and whether a Sherry Pulcher Consulting service may be appropriate.

An initial consultation does not create a consulting engagement, guarantee project availability, reserve project capacity, or obligate either party to proceed.

For services requiring individual scoping, the final scope, investment, timeline, payment terms, and project requirements will be confirmed before the engagement begins.

A consulting engagement begins only after any required agreement has been accepted and any required initial payment has been received.

02 · PAYMENT TERMS

Payment for Services

Payment requirements vary by service or engagement and may include full payment, an initial project payment, installment payments, milestone payments, or another payment arrangement stated in the applicable agreement, proposal, invoice, or payment request.

Payment amounts, due dates, and payment requirements will be provided before the applicable engagement begins.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, required payments must be received before the applicable work, project phase, meeting, training, or other service begins.

Invoices & Payment Requests

Payments may be collected through an invoice, secure electronic payment request, authorized payment link, or other payment method provided directly by Sherry Pulcher Consulting.

Clients should use only payment instructions received directly from Sherry Pulcher Consulting.

Project Capacity

Certain engagements require project capacity to be reserved in advance.

Project dates, implementation periods, or other reserved service periods are not guaranteed until any required agreement and initial payment have been received.

03 · PROMOTIONAL OFFERS & COUPON CODES

Promotional Discounts

From time to time, Sherry Pulcher Consulting may offer promotional discounts, coupon codes, introductory offers, or limited promotional pricing on eligible services.

Each promotion is subject to the eligibility requirements, restrictions, availability, expiration terms, and other conditions stated with the specific offer.

Promotions may be limited by factors including:

  • New-client status
  • A specific service or type of service
  • Geographic market
  • A limited number of qualifying clients
  • A stated promotional period
  • A specific coupon or promotional code
  • Other eligibility requirements stated with the offer

Promotional discounts must be disclosed or applied before the applicable invoice, payment, or purchase is finalized.

Discounts will not be applied retroactively to services that have already been invoiced, paid for, or completed.

Unless the specific promotion states otherwise:

  • Promotional offers cannot be combined with other coupons, discounts, credits, or promotional pricing.
  • Promotional offers have no cash value.
  • Promotional offers are not transferable.
  • Promotional pricing does not change the scope, deliverables, payment requirements, cancellation terms, or other conditions of the underlying engagement.
  • Limited-availability promotions are available only while the stated promotional availability remains.

If a refund is otherwise required by applicable law or expressly approved in writing, the refund will be calculated using the amount actually paid after the promotional discount was applied, not the regular or undiscounted price.

04 · REFUNDS

Professional & Project-Based Services

Professional services may require reserved capacity and substantial work before or outside scheduled client meetings.

This may include:

  • Preparation
  • Research
  • Document review
  • Analysis
  • Planning
  • Development of customized recommendations
  • Development of systems, procedures, forms, or tools
  • Implementation work
  • Training preparation
  • Project management
  • Other customized work performed for the client

Once an engagement has been accepted, project capacity has been reserved, and work has begun, fees are generally non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or expressly agreed to in writing.

Any project-specific refund or cancellation terms contained in a signed agreement will control for that engagement.

Purchasing or entering into an engagement does not guarantee a particular business, financial, employment, regulatory, legal, workforce, or operational result.

Digital Products & Downloadable Resources

Digital products, downloadable materials, templates, guides, online resources, and similar products are generally final and non-refundable once access or delivery has been provided, unless otherwise stated in writing or required by applicable law.

05 · CLIENT CANCELLATION OF AN ENGAGEMENT

Cancellation After Work Begins

A client may decide to discontinue an engagement.

However, cancelling or discontinuing an engagement does not automatically create a right to a refund for:

  • Work already completed
  • Time or project capacity already reserved
  • Preparation already performed
  • Research or analysis already completed
  • Materials, systems, documents, or resources already developed
  • Project management already performed
  • Approved expenses already incurred
  • Other work performed or committed on behalf of the client

Any remaining payment obligations will be determined by the applicable agreement and the work completed or committed at the time of cancellation.

06 · SCHEDULED MEETINGS, CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING

Scheduled Meetings

At Least 48 Hours’ Notice

Scheduled meetings may be rescheduled one (1) time at no additional charge when at least 48 hours’ notice is provided.

Less Than 48 Hours’ Notice

Meetings rescheduled with less than 48 hours’ notice may be subject to a $150 rescheduling fee.

The replacement meeting may not be confirmed until the applicable fee has been paid.

No-Shows

If a client does not attend a scheduled meeting and has not provided prior notice, the meeting may be considered used and will not automatically be replaced.

For engagements involving multiple meetings, project work, implementation, training, or deliverables, a missed meeting does not automatically cancel or forfeit the entire engagement.

The project timeline may be adjusted, and a replacement meeting may be subject to the applicable rescheduling fee.

Exceptions may be considered at Sherry Pulcher Consulting’s discretion in cases of documented emergencies or extraordinary circumstances. Repeated cancellations, missed meetings, or rescheduling requests may result in suspension or termination of an engagement subject to the applicable agreement.

07 · CLIENT DELAYS & PROJECT INACTIVITY

Client Participation & Project Timing

Professional engagements often depend on timely client participation.

Clients may be required to provide:

  • Documents
  • Business or workforce information
  • Existing policies or procedures
  • System access
  • Staff or management availability
  • Approvals
  • Feedback
  • Scheduling availability
  • Other information or access necessary to complete the work

Delays in providing requested information, documents, access, approvals, feedback, or availability may affect the project timeline but do not automatically create a right to a refund.

Extended Inactivity

If an engagement becomes inactive because required client information, approvals, access, or scheduling are not provided for an extended period, Sherry Pulcher Consulting may pause the engagement.

The project may need to be rescheduled based on current consulting availability before work resumes.

If circumstances materially change during a prolonged delay, additional work required because of changes in staffing, systems, laws, regulations, business operations, or other conditions may require an updated scope or additional fee.

08 · CHANGES TO PROJECT SCOPE

Work Outside the Original Scope

The scope of an engagement is based on the information available when the project is approved.

Additional work may be required when circumstances change or when issues are identified that were not reasonably included in the original scope.

Examples may include:

  • Additional locations
  • Additional states or jurisdictions
  • Additional departments, teams, or employee groups
  • Additional systems or platforms
  • Significant reconstruction of existing records or processes
  • Additional onsite work
  • New compliance or operational issues
  • New deliverables
  • Additional training
  • Other work requested outside the original engagement

Work outside the agreed scope may require a written scope change, additional fee, separate invoice, or separate engagement.

Related work is not automatically included merely because it is connected to the original project.

09 · LATE, FAILED & RETURNED PAYMENTS

Payment Problems

Payments must be made according to the applicable invoice, agreement, or payment schedule.

If a payment is declined, returned, reversed, or otherwise unsuccessful, work may be paused until the outstanding balance is resolved.

Sherry Pulcher Consulting may postpone meetings, deliverables, implementation work, training, or other project activity while an account has a past-due balance.

Any returned-payment fees or other charges will be disclosed where applicable.

10 · PAYMENT DISPUTES & CHARGEBACKS

Billing Questions & Payment Disputes

Clients who believe a billing error has occurred should contact Sherry Pulcher Consulting promptly so the matter can be reviewed.

A payment dispute or chargeback does not automatically cancel an underlying agreement or eliminate payment obligations for services properly provided.

When responding to a payment dispute or chargeback, Sherry Pulcher Consulting may provide relevant documentation, including:

  • Agreements
  • Proposals
  • Invoices
  • Payment records
  • Correspondence
  • Project records
  • Delivery records
  • Evidence of services or work provided
11 · ONSITE SERVICES, TRAVEL & THIRD-PARTY COSTS

Project-Related Expenses

Some engagements may require onsite work, travel, mileage, parking, lodging, shipping, technology, third-party platforms, materials, or other project-related expenses.

Whether these expenses are included in the service fee or billed separately will be stated in the applicable agreement, proposal, or invoice.

Clients will not be responsible for undisclosed extraordinary expenses where prior approval is required.

12 · RESCHEDULING OR CANCELLATION BY SHERRY PULCHER CONSULTING

Changes Initiated by Sherry Pulcher Consulting

If Sherry Pulcher Consulting must reschedule a meeting or project activity, reasonable efforts will be made to provide an alternative date.

If Sherry Pulcher Consulting is unable to provide a purchased service and no reasonable alternative can be provided, any refund or credit due will be determined based on the portion of the service that has not been delivered.

A reasonable delay or adjustment to the project timeline does not automatically create a right to a refund.

13 · TRAINING, WORKSHOPS & OTHER SCHEDULED SERVICES

Service-Specific Terms

Training, workshops, educational programs, and other scheduled services may have registration, cancellation, rescheduling, attendance, or refund requirements specific to that offering.

When service-specific terms are provided, those terms apply in addition to this policy.

If there is a conflict between this policy and service-specific written terms, the service-specific terms control for that purchase or engagement.

14 · SUSPENSION OR TERMINATION OF SERVICES

When an Engagement May Be Paused or Ended

Sherry Pulcher Consulting may pause, suspend, or terminate an engagement when circumstances make continued work unreasonable, unsafe, unlawful, or impractical.

Examples may include:

  • Repeated missed meetings
  • Repeated failure to provide required information
  • Failure to make required payments
  • Material breach of an agreement
  • Requests to perform unlawful or unethical activity
  • Abusive, threatening, or inappropriate conduct
  • Significant changes that make the existing scope no longer workable

Any financial obligations following suspension or termination will be determined by the applicable agreement and the work already completed, reserved, or committed.

15 · NO GUARANTEE OF OUTCOME

Professional Services Do Not Guarantee a Particular Result

Professional services are intended to provide guidance, analysis, systems, recommendations, documentation, training, implementation support, or other professional assistance based on the information available at the time.

No service can guarantee:

  • A particular financial result
  • A specific employment or workforce outcome
  • Prevention of all claims, disputes, or losses
  • A particular regulatory or administrative outcome
  • A specific legal outcome
  • Specific productivity or operational improvements
  • Future business performance

Clients remain responsible for the decisions and actions affecting their organization.
