About Sherry Pulcher HR Consulting
Sherry Pulcher HR Consulting helps small and growing businesses build practical HR systems, strengthen management practices, and address the people and operational issues that make a business harder to manage.
We work across professional and business services, medical and dental offices, property management, retail, hospitality, and businesses with blue-collar, field-based, and operations-driven workforces.
Our approach starts with understanding how the business actually operates. Sometimes the issue is rooted in HR. Sometimes it is operational. And sometimes the two are closely connected.

Practical HR Built Around the Business
Small businesses do not need unnecessary corporate bureaucracy. They need HR systems that help them manage employees, document issues, support supervisors, communicate expectations, and make consistent decisions.
Understand the Business
We start with how the business actually operates, who manages employees, where responsibilities sit, and where HR, management, or operating processes are breaking down.
Identify the Real Problem
An employee issue may point to a larger problem involving documentation, policy, inconsistent management, communication, accountability, or the structure supporting the work.
Strengthen the System
Once the underlying issue is clear, we strengthen the HR processes, management practices, documentation, accountability, and systems behind it.
Practical Experience. Analytical Thinking. Business-Focused HR.
Building HR From the Ground Up
We understand what it takes to build HR processes, documentation, management practices, and employee systems when the infrastructure does not already exist.
HR That Fits the Business
Our approach is designed for office, professional, service, medical, retail, hospitality, field, skilled-trade, production, shift-based, and other operations-driven businesses.
Evidence Before Assumptions
We look at the facts, identify the underlying problem, and build solutions around what the evidence actually shows.
Looking Beyond the Employee Issue
Workflow, unclear ownership, inconsistent management, weak handoffs, communication, and accountability can all affect how consistently a business operates.
Start With the Type of Business—or the Problem.
Our consulting work is designed around the realities of the business, not a one-size-fits-all HR model.

Experience Built in the Real World
Before moving into human resources, operations, and organizational leadership, Sherry spent five years working in a chemistry laboratory. That experience strengthened the analytical thinking, attention to detail, and evidence-based problem solving she continues to bring to consulting work.
In HR, she has worked directly in energy and other operations-driven environments and has built HR functions from the ground up.
Her experience includes employee relations, workplace conflict, employee documentation, policy development, performance and corrective action, unemployment claims, workers’ compensation matters, onboarding, separations, employee management, and advising managers and business leaders on workplace issues.
Sherry also brings experience delivering instruction in classroom settings, strengthening her ability to communicate information clearly, manage group learning environments, and adapt instruction to different audiences. That experience carries directly into the practical training she provides to supervisors, managers, and employees.
Sherry has also worked in unionized environments and participated in multiple collective bargaining negotiations.
Historical unemployment claim results reflect prior employer matters and do not guarantee the outcome of any current or future claim.
A Multidisciplinary Perspective
Science & Analytical Thinking
Sherry studied Biochemistry at California State University, Fullerton, and Criminalistics at Metropolitan State University Denver. Her scientific background continues to influence how she approaches business problems: examine the facts, identify the underlying issue, understand the variables, and build the solution around what the evidence shows.
HR, Employee Management & Training
Her professional background includes HR leadership, employee management, operational performance, employee relations, labor relations, policy development, workplace problem resolution, professional development, and workforce training.

There Is Life Beyond HR.
When Sherry is not working, she enjoys doing calculus, listening to smooth jazz, and reading Patricia Cornwell and Agatha Christie.
She is also a former clarinet and flute player and enjoys skiing, surfing, hiking, and animals.
One of her long-term dreams is to someday manage a wildlife reserve.
Strengthen the System Behind Your Business.
If employee issues, management problems, documentation gaps, or business growth are making the company harder to manage, we can start with what is actually happening.
