Submit a Referral
Provide the basic information you have about the business and contact. Please do not submit confidential employee, medical, financial, or personnel information.
Referral Program Terms Review eligibility, payment, and program requirements.
1. Referral Fee
The referral fee is $500 for an eligible new consulting client who enters into a qualifying consulting engagement with a total service fee of $3,500 or more.
A referral does not automatically qualify for payment. The eligibility requirements outlined on this page must be satisfied before a referral fee is earned.
The referral fee applies to qualifying consulting engagements only. Purchases of guides, downloadable products, templates, digital resources, standalone products, or other non-consulting purchases do not qualify for a referral fee.
2. What Qualifies as an Eligible Referral?
To qualify for a referral fee:
- The referred business must be a new prospective client of Sherry Pulcher Consulting.
- The business must not already be an active client, active prospect, or existing lead known to Sherry Pulcher Consulting.
- The referral must be identifiable and reasonably attributable to the referrer.
- The referred business must enter into a consulting agreement with a total service fee of $3,500 or more.
- Sherry Pulcher Consulting must receive and clear the required client payment associated with the engagement.
An inquiry, introduction, consultation, proposal request, or other contact that does not result in a qualifying paid consulting engagement does not qualify for a referral fee.
3. How a Referral Should Be Made
A referral may be made through a direct introduction, email, website contact, or another method that allows Sherry Pulcher Consulting to reasonably identify the person who made the referral.
The referrer should identify themselves as the referral source before or at the time the prospective client first contacts Sherry Pulcher Consulting.
The referred business may also identify the referrer when making its initial contact.
Sherry Pulcher Consulting must be able to reasonably verify the source of the referral.
4. Referral Qualification Period
A referred business must enter into a qualifying paid consulting engagement within six months of the original referral unless Sherry Pulcher Consulting agrees otherwise in writing.
If a prospective client does not enter into a qualifying paid consulting engagement during that period, the referral will generally no longer be considered active for purposes of the referral fee.
5. Existing Clients, Prospects, and Duplicate Referrals
A referral fee is available only for a genuinely new prospective consulting client.
A business does not qualify as a new referral if Sherry Pulcher Consulting was already:
- Providing services to the business
- Actively communicating with the business about consulting services
- Preparing or discussing a proposal with the business
- Pursuing the business as an active prospect
- Previously introduced to the business through another eligible referral
If more than one person refers the same prospective client, the referral fee will generally be credited to the first eligible referral that can reasonably be verified.
Sherry Pulcher Consulting will make the final determination regarding referral attribution and eligibility.
6. Referring Your Employer
An employee may refer the company or organization where they work.
To qualify for a referral fee, the employee must disclose to their employer that they may personally receive a $500 referral fee from Sherry Pulcher Consulting if the employer becomes a qualifying paying consulting client.
The disclosure must be made before the employer enters into the consulting engagement.
The referring employee is responsible for ensuring that accepting a referral fee does not violate:
- Employer policies
- Conflict-of-interest policies
- Employment agreements
- Professional or licensing requirements
- Procurement requirements
- Contractual obligations
- Applicable law or regulation
If the referring employee participates directly in selecting, approving, purchasing, or authorizing consulting services for their employer, Sherry Pulcher Consulting may require confirmation from an owner, officer, executive, or other authorized representative that the referral arrangement has been disclosed and approved.
Sherry Pulcher Consulting may decline to issue a referral fee when the payment would create an undisclosed or prohibited conflict of interest.
7. When the Referral Fee Is Earned
The $500 referral fee becomes eligible for payment only after:
- The referred business enters into a qualifying consulting engagement with Sherry Pulcher Consulting; and
- Sherry Pulcher Consulting receives and clears the required client payment associated with that engagement.
A referral fee is not earned merely because a prospective client:
- Requests information
- Schedules a consultation
- Receives a proposal
- Verbally agrees to services
- Signs an agreement without making the required payment
The client relationship must become a qualifying paid consulting engagement before a referral fee is earned.
8. Referral Fee Payment
Once all referral requirements have been satisfied, an eligible referral fee will generally be issued within 30 days after the qualifying client payment has been received and cleared.
Referral fees may be paid by ACH, Zelle, PayPal, Cash App, or another payment method approved by Sherry Pulcher Consulting. Available payment methods may vary.
Sherry Pulcher Consulting may require the referrer to provide information reasonably necessary to process payment, including payment details and applicable tax information.
Referral payments will not be issued until required payment information has been provided.
9. Canceled, Refunded, Reversed, or Disputed Client Payments
Referral fees are not payable on client payments that are canceled, refunded, reversed, charged back, disputed, fraudulent, or otherwise not successfully retained by Sherry Pulcher Consulting.
If circumstances affecting the qualifying client payment occur before the referral fee has been issued, payment of the referral fee may be delayed or canceled.
If a referral fee has already been paid and the underlying client payment is subsequently reversed because of fraud, payment dispute, chargeback, or another extraordinary circumstance, Sherry Pulcher Consulting reserves the right to request repayment of the referral fee where appropriate.
10. One Referral Fee Per New Client
The $500 payment is a one-time new-client referral fee.
A successful referral does not create an ongoing commission or continuing right to compensation from:
- Additional projects
- Renewals
- Follow-up engagements
- Additional services
- Future purchases
- Work performed for affiliated organizations
Any additional referral arrangement must be separately agreed to in writing.
11. Referrers Are Making Introductions, Not Selling Consulting Services
Participation in the referral program does not create an employment, independent contractor, partnership, agency, joint venture, franchise, or sales-representative relationship with Sherry Pulcher Consulting.
Referrers are making introductions only.
Referrers are not authorized to:
- Quote consulting fees
- Negotiate pricing
- Negotiate scope or contract terms
- Promise services or deliverables
- Guarantee results
- Guarantee that a prospective client will be accepted
- Make commitments on behalf of Sherry Pulcher Consulting
- Sign agreements on behalf of Sherry Pulcher Consulting
- Represent themselves as an employee or agent of Sherry Pulcher Consulting
All decisions concerning services, pricing, scope, availability, proposals, and client acceptance are made directly by Sherry Pulcher Consulting.
12. Public Recommendations and Referral Disclosure
If a person publicly promotes, endorses, recommends, posts about, or otherwise markets Sherry Pulcher Consulting while participating in the referral program, that person is responsible for clearly disclosing that they may receive a referral fee if their recommendation results in a qualifying paid consulting client.
Any recommendation or statement about Sherry Pulcher Consulting must be truthful and based on information the referrer reasonably believes to be accurate.
Referrers may not make false, misleading, exaggerated, or unauthorized claims about Sherry Pulcher Consulting or its services.
13. No Spam, Misrepresentation, or Unauthorized Marketing
The referral program is intended for genuine business referrals.
Referrers may not:
- Send deceptive or misleading communications
- Impersonate Sherry Pulcher Consulting
- Create unauthorized advertisements or websites representing Sherry Pulcher Consulting
- Use Sherry Pulcher Consulting branding in a manner that suggests an employment, agency, or official representative relationship
- Make unauthorized guarantees regarding services or results
- Engage in unlawful spam or unsolicited mass marketing on behalf of Sherry Pulcher Consulting
- Misrepresent the nature of the referral relationship
Sherry Pulcher Consulting may disqualify referrals associated with deceptive, misleading, abusive, or unauthorized conduct.
14. Privacy and Confidential Information
A referral should generally require only basic business contact information or a direct introduction.
Referrers should not provide confidential business information, employee records, medical information, personnel information, sensitive employee complaints, Social Security numbers, financial account information, or other sensitive personal information as part of a referral.
Sensitive information relating to an employee matter should be discussed directly between the prospective client and Sherry Pulcher Consulting after an appropriate consulting relationship or confidential discussion has been established.
15. Professional, Ethical, and Employer Restrictions
Individuals working in regulated professions or under professional codes of conduct are responsible for determining whether accepting a referral fee is permitted.
This may include attorneys, accountants, insurance professionals, financial professionals, licensed professionals, government employees, procurement personnel, or others whose professional or employment rules restrict referral compensation.
Sherry Pulcher Consulting will not knowingly issue a referral fee when doing so would violate applicable law, professional ethics requirements, employer restrictions, contractual obligations, or procurement rules.
16. Taxes
Referral fees may constitute taxable income to the recipient.
The referrer is responsible for any federal, state, or local tax obligations associated with referral payments.
Sherry Pulcher Consulting may request a completed Form W-9 or other documentation required for payment administration or tax reporting.
Applicable tax reporting forms may be issued when required by law. Failure to provide requested tax information may delay or prevent payment of a referral fee.
17. Client Acceptance Is Not Guaranteed
Sherry Pulcher Consulting retains full discretion to determine whether a prospective client or engagement is an appropriate fit.
Sherry Pulcher Consulting may choose to:
- Contact or not contact a referred prospect
- Decline a consultation
- Decline to issue a proposal
- Decline an engagement
- Limit the scope of services offered
- Discontinue discussions with a prospective client
A referral does not create any obligation for Sherry Pulcher Consulting to accept or provide services to the referred business.
18. Referral Eligibility Decisions
Sherry Pulcher Consulting reserves the right to determine whether a referral meets the requirements of the referral program.
This includes decisions regarding:
- Whether the prospective client was genuinely new
- Who made the qualifying referral
- Whether the referral was properly disclosed
- Whether the client engagement qualifies under the program
- Whether the required client payment was received
- Whether a conflict of interest or professional restriction applies
- Whether these Referral Program Terms were followed
Referral eligibility decisions will be made reasonably and in good faith based on the available information.
19. Changes to the Referral Program
Sherry Pulcher Consulting may modify, suspend, or discontinue the referral program or these Referral Program Terms at any time.
Unless otherwise required, a referral submitted before a change to the program will generally be evaluated under the terms that were in effect when the referral was made.
Changes to the program do not create an obligation to continue offering referral incentives for future referrals.
